Meet The Team

Behind Creative Pause is a small team brought together by a shared belief that the way people are supported through difficulty genuinely matters. Each member brings a different perspective, combining lived experience, clinical understanding, and a deep commitment to supporting people through life's more demanding moments.

Jules Greensmith

Jules Greensmith is the Founder of Creative Pause and co-founder of Creative Pause for Life.

Her path into this work was shaped not by theory but by thirty years of being alongside people in difficulty. Growing up in a fostering household. Working in care homes, adult services, and suicide prevention. Supporting veterans and their families as they navigated the long shadow that service leaves behind. Losing a close friend to suicide in 2019, a loss that led her to found HIS, Help Information Support, a charity dedicated to men's mental health.

She has worked with both children and adults living with complex trauma, attachment difficulties, PTSD, CPTSD, neurodiversity, ADHD, and the long term effects of abuse and abandonment. She has supported individuals emerging from the care system, survivors of domestic violence, and those carrying the invisible weight of combat. She has also navigated her own periods of significant mental health difficulty. She does not speak from the outside of this work.

Her qualifications include life coaching, suicide prevention support, breathwork, and meditation practice. What defines her work is not the list of credentials but the authenticity that comes from lived understanding. Jules has sat in difficulty herself. She knows what it is to feel unseen, to reach for support and find nothing there. That is why she built something different.

Through Creative Pause and Creative Pause for Life, she works with individuals and organisations who are ready to look honestly at what they are carrying, and to find a steadier way forward.
